Hi there guys!
Have you ever received a picture through email, messages on a tablet, or on a cellphone and put them on your computer? One day you're doing something on the computer and then poof! Your precious pictures are gone! Or you were writing a masterpiece that you've been working on for awhile and one day your computer freezes up, refusing to cooperate. You take it to a computer store and get news it crashed! Poof! Your masterpiece has disappeared into who knows where!
I HAVE BEEN THERE.
It was a sad day long ago when a lightning storm zapped my hard drive, frying it to smithereens. I lost a children's book I was writing, a novel, songs I wrote, and tons of photos I had taken. I was devastated and scarred for life. I've never been able to recover from that, but it taught me a valuable lesson...never again do anything with or put anything on a computer without having a copy somewhere.
I'm so glad that I can give you hope and good news though! If you follow my instructions, you will be able to save your hard drive from a place of doom like mine went to.
First things first!
Note: This version is for Mac huggers. I will make a separate video and post for Windows huggers. :)
Here's a glossary of terms you might hear in this post or video.
Let's get started learning how to protect those precious files and memories!
